Real safety means more than words—it means results.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood, whether they’re walking their child to school, visiting a park, or running a business. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when communities are left without support—and what’s possible when we take action.
I will support practical, proven solutions that keep drugs, needles, and criminal activity away from our parks and public spaces—while ensuring our public safety systems are responsive, accountable, and focused on outcomes.
Because safe communities don’t happen by accident—they’re built through leadership and follow-through.
-
We can—and must—do better for our most vulnerable neighbors.
Too many people are struggling with homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges without the support they need to improve their lives. Leaving people on the streets is not compassionate—it’s a failure of leadership.
I support solutions that combine compassion with accountability: expanding access to treatment, housing, and services while setting clear expectations that help people move toward stability.
We need approaches that actually change lives—not just manage the crisis.
-
Small businesses are the heart of our community—and they need a partner in Salem, not another barrier.
From neighborhood shops to local service providers, small businesses are struggling with rising costs, workforce challenges, and inconsistent policies. These businesses create jobs, build community, and keep our neighborhoods vibrant.
I will advocate for:
Reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens
Supporting workforce development and local hiring
Investing in thriving neighborhood business districts
Ensuring state policies reflect the realities small business owners face
We need an economy that works for the people who are building it every day.
-
I’m not running to represent a party—I’m running to represent our community.
Oregon needs leaders who are willing to learn from what’s working—and what’s not—and adjust course when needed. I’ll bring a steady, pragmatic approach grounded in real experience across nonprofit and business leadership.
That means listening first, focusing on outcomes, and making decisions based on what will actually improve people’s lives.
Because progress comes from practical solutions—not political posturing.
